<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle of a fuel injection valve capable of promoting atomization of injection fuel, without specially increasing delivery pressure in a fuel pump, by receiving the expansion and contraction of the volume, without bending a course of a flow until fuel flowed in a fuel nozzle port reaches an outlet from an inlet of the fuel nozzle port. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This nozzle of the fuel injection valve has a valve seat 13 and the fuel nozzle port 26 for directly injecting the high pressure fuel passed through the valve seat into a combustion chamber 10 of an engine E, and is formed so that the fuel nozzle port 26 increases in its cross-sectional area toward an intermediate part in the axial direction of the fuel nozzle port 26 from the inlet 26a and the outlet 26b of the fuel nozzle port 26. A shape of the fuel nozzle port 26 is constituted of a first ellipse 30 forming the peripheral edge of the inlet 26a of the fuel nozzle port 26, a second ellipse 31 forming the peripheral edge of the outlet 26b of the fuel nozzle port 26 and different in a phase from the first ellipse 30 and a straight line bus bar 32 connecting between these first and second ellipses 30 and 31.
