<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for determining a lower limit position of a bottom rail, which enables the length of a long sunshade member to be adjusted by simple operations depending on the length of a window frame, after the installation of the sunshade member in the window frame. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This mechanism includes a positioning member 2 in which a plurality of engaging portions 3 and 3 are disposed at predetermined spacings along a longitudinal direction and which is mounted by being fitted to the backside of the bottom rail 1, and an engaging and fixing member 4 which is fixed to a terminal end of a lifting/lowering cord 5 inserted through a through-hole 6 drilled in the bottom rail 1 and engaged with the engaging portion 3 of the positioning member 2. The length of the lifting/lowering cord 5 is determined by engaging the engaging and fixing member 4, which is fixed to the terminal end of the lifting/lowering cord 5, with the one of the engaging portions 3 selected from among the plurality of engaging portions 3 and 3 in the positioning member 2 fitted to the backside of the bottom rail 1.
