<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an appearance is poor when mounting decorative members for a corner such as ceiling cornice, a skirting, decorative edges for internal/projected corners, etc. with a needle or nail of a tacker, a wood screw, etc. to the corner because a head of the fastening fitting is seen from the surface. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When molding the decorative member for the corner by extrusion of a synthetic resin, a void (a plurality of voids can also be provided) for covering the fitting for use in fastening are provided inside the decorative member for the corner. A slit is formed throughout the length in the direction of the extrusion toward the void from the surface during or after molding, so as to make an opening for taking out and putting in a leading end of the fastening device. For that purpose, a surface layer of the decorative member for the corner is formed soft which enables the taking-out and putting-in of the leading end of the fastening device. Also, a lid with the slit is molded from a resin with elasticity, which is returned to an original shape when the leading end of the device is pulled out after the fastening. A plurality of decorative grooves are formed on the surface in such a designed manner that the slit is inconspicuous while the slit is formed along streaks of the decorative grooves.
