<p>Disclosed is a radiation treatment system for applying radiation with high accuracy even to a respiratory moving organ, such as a lung or a liver. The radiation treatment system is characterized in that a template image showing a region which contains a treatment target position of a patient is previously acquired, each frame of a fluoroscopic image used for detecting the treatment target position determined during the treatment is subjected to pattern matching, and information about the treatment target position is determined by the pattern matching on the basis of the template image, and in that when the resultant information about the treatment target position falls within a predetermined range of error from the information about the treatment target position based on the template image and the time comes to the timing of applying radiation for treatment determined according to information about body surface movement, a signal for applying radiation for treatment is generated, otherwise a signal for stopping the application is generated, and thus control of applying radiation for treatment is made according to the signals.</p> |
