PURPOSE: Pore water pressure measuring system and method are provided to obtain an accurate measurement value since the installation location of a piezometer is fixed. CONSTITUTION: A pore water pressure measuring system comprises a tubular body(100), a receiving member(130) and a piezometer(200). At the sidewall of the tubular body, a through-hole(110) is formed. At the bottom of the pipe, a fixing unit(120) to be fixed to a rock layer(3) is formed. Into the receiving member, the water flows in through the through-hole. The receiving member is installed at the inside of the tubular body so that the water is not discharged to the inner area of the tubular body. The piezometer is installed inside the receiving member. At the through-hole, a filter is installed so that the foreign material except the water is unable to be transmitted.
