RF CONVERSION DEVICE, AND RF CONVERSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RF conversion device and an RF conversion method, which help a user to use an analogue television and a remote controller in the prior art with no change in usability for viewing digital broadcasting and also allow the user to make the setting easily.

SOLUTION: A remote control signal from an A remote controller 104 for an analogue television 103 is received and the received remote control signal is analyzed. A physical channel number of analogue broadcasting which corresponds to the remote control channel signal contained in the remote control signal is selected. A physical channel number of the analogue broadcasting is set. A physical channel number of the digital broadcasting corresponding to the physical channel number of the selected analogue broadcasting is selected. The digital broadcasting tuned to a physical channel number of the selected digital broadcasting is converted to the RF signal of a frequency corresponding to the set physical channel number of the analogue broadcasting for output thereof.
