<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component supply device capable of supplying a component to a component supply position in an appropriate state. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A carrying path 23c supporting a carrier tape 18a from which a cover tape 18b is peeled off includes the upper surface of support walls 31 and 32, a notched recess 22a is formed on a body case 22, and a sprocket 54 is installed inside the notched recess 22a while protruding a pawl 54a positioned on the upper end side upwards from an opening 31c. Then, a carrier tape support member 24 is provided on the outer side of the body case 22 so as to cover the upper outer side face side of the sprocket 54, and the part positioned on the outer side of the sprocket 54 in the carrier tape 18a is supported by the upper end of the carrier tape support member 24.
