<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a second vehicle body side connecting part by a simple structure only burring a lower half body extension part of an arm body, in an L-shaped suspension arm provided with a wheel support, a first vehicle body side connecting part, and a second vehicle body side connecting part at an end of the arm body in the intermediate part, and at the other end, respectively. <P>SOLUTION: The arm body A includes an upper half body AU formed into a cross-sectional reverse U-shape, and a lower half body AL formed into a shape for closing an open end of the upper half body AU by pressing a plate and welded w1 to internal surfaces of a pair of side walls 2 of the upper half body AU. The lower half body AL at the other end of the arm body A is extended longer outward as compared with the upper half body AU. In an extension part ALe, an upward and cylindrical bush support P2 is integrally formed by burring so that the extension part ALe becomes the second vehicle body side connecting part AF2. An outer peripheral surface closer to the intermediate part of the arm body A of the bush support P2 is abutted and welded to an outer end face of the upper half body AU. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
