PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic cleaning device capable of reducing labor-hours for maintenance of a filter with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner including a filter cleaning device composed of a filter 1, a cleaning brush 3 driven right and left on the filter 1, and a collecting device 6, a receiving pan 5 is disposed just under the cleaning brush 3, and further a thin plate 10 is disposed on a belt 9 of the collecting device 6, thus attachment of dust falling in cleaning the filter, to the heat exchanger can be prevented, and the dust accumulated in the receiving pan 5 can be simultaneously cleaned in cleaning the dust attached to the cleaning brush 3.
