PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat-position adjusting device facilitating the loading of luggages. SOLUTION: The vehicular seat position adjusting device 1 includes a seat drive unit 20 that moves a seat 4 formed with a luggage room 5 on its rear face in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle inside a compartment, a luggage position sensor 11 that obtains luggage position information reflecting the proximity level between the seat 4 and the luggages 6 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle at the time of or after loading the luggages 6 into the luggage room 5, and a control unit 10 that performs drive control to make the seat drive unit 20 move the seat so that at least the proximity level between the luggage 6 and the seat 4 should not exceed a predetermined reference level, which is an excessively proximal state, at the time of and after loading the luggages 6, based on the obtained luggage position information.
