PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular shift controller capable of preventing busy shift and improving fuel efficiency at the same time. SOLUTION: The vehicular shift controller is structured to control the revolutions of a driving force source by gradually changing gear a ratio of a transmission connected to the output side of the driving force source and to reduce the gear ratio, if a value predetermined as an index that shows the operation state of the driving force source exceeds an upshift threshold value that reduces the gear ratio. In this controller, a gear shift promotion means (Step S3) is provided that, when a vehicle is accelerated, changes the upshift threshold value relatively to a value that is easy to cause the gear shift that reduces the gear ratio, compared with the case where the vehicle is not accelerated.
