PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body fluid absorbent wearing article in which an elastic stretchable member is easily arranged on a stretchable outer-surface sheet. SOLUTION: The body fluid absorbent wearing article 10 includes: a crotch area 15 to be extended between first and second waist areas 13, 14; and a liquid-absorbent core to be extended from the crotch area 15 toward the first and second waist areas 13, 14, the first and second stretchable waist areas 13, 14 each including a stretchable body. In the body fluid absorbent wearing article 10, elastic waist bands 28 each of which is made of a member independent of a member forming the first waist area 13, are attached to the end edge 18a of at least the first waist area 13 out of the first and second waist areas 13, 14. Each of the elastic waist bands 28 comprises: a non-stretchable sheet; and a plurality of strand-shaped elastic stretchable members to be stretched in a horizontal direction. The elastic stretchable member is attached to the skin non-abutment surface side of the first waist area 13 in an extended state in the horizontal direction X after forming the body 10a.
