PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver for high-accuracy determination of a viewable broadcast station, in terrestrial digital television broadcasting. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver is capable of receiving the terrestrial digital television broadcasting. The digital broadcast receiver includes: a digital broadcast receiving part 12a for receiving the digital signals of a frequency band allocated to the terrestrial digital television broadcasting; and a reception control part (broadcast station determining part 13a) for determining whether the broadcasting of one broadcast station can be viewed, in a band which is wider than one part of the band by using digital signals in the one part of the band of the frequency band allocated to the one broadcast station in the terrestrial digital television broadcasting, among the digital signals received by the digital broadcast receiving part 12a.
