PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit for a plasma display panel that realizes driving that floats an address electrode between a GND potential and Va during a sustain period. SOLUTION: The drive circuit for the plasma display panel includes: a Y-sustain drive circuit 10Y connected to a scanning electrode side and a sustain electrode side of the plasma display panel; an address drive circuit 50, connected to the address electrode side of the plasma display panel; and a regenerative circuit 60, which is connected to a sustain drive voltage line of the Y-sustain drive circuit 10Y and an address voltage line of the address drive circuit 50, and which makes an electric power that flows from the address drive circuit 50 regenerate as a sustain drive voltage of the Y-sustain drive circuit 10Y.
