PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver and system for acquiring information on the interior of a subject, surely synchronizing a capsule type endoscope with the receiver to accurately acquire image information corresponding to an image of one sheet. SOLUTION: This receiver 203 includes: a synchronous signal detecting part 243; and an image processing part 35. The synchronous signal detecting part 243 detects a vertical synchronous signal and a horizontal synchronous signal in every scan line component, generates a detection signal showing the head of the scan line component when the vertical synchronous signal and the horizontal synchronous signal are detected, generates a regenerative signal showing the head of a scan line component based on the preceding generated detection signal when the horizontal synchronous signal is not detected, and outputs a timing signal indicating the processing start timing of the scan line component corresponding to the input timing of the scan line component based on the detection signal or the regenerative signal. The image processing part 35 starts the processing for the information component in synchronization with the input timing of the scan line component according to the timing signal output from a timing signal output means.
