The reservoir (7) has valve supports (6) with a feed pipe (4a) and a delivery pipe (4b) for a flowing fluid to supply the fluid to the reservoir for homogenization of flow rate of the fluid and to temporarily store the fluid. A separating unit i.e. tube (11), forming a separate chamber (10) is provided at the valve supports. The separating unit controls pressure spikes provided at the fluid by doubled cross-sectional jump during entry and exit of the fluid to ensure homogenous supply and/or discharge of the fluid into and/or from the reservoir.
