PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve a contrast ratio by making a viewing angle of different emitting diodes different. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel(102) comprises a plurality of gate lines (GL1-GLn) and plurality of data lines (DL1-DLm). A gate driver(104) drives a plurality of gate lines. A data driver(106) drives a plurality of data lines. A back light unit(110) projects a light on the liquid crystal panel. A histogram analysis part(112) analyzes the average gradation of total image data. A first light emitting diode driving unit(114) controls the luminance of the first emitting diode according to average gradation. A second light emitting diode driving unit(116) controls the luminance of the second emitting diode according to average gradation. |
