PURPOSE: A buffer of a vehicle hood is provided to prevent pedestrians from getting hurt with a hood or a hood latch assembly by alleviating a second impact by using a hood striker. CONSTITUTION: A fixture piece(110) is fixed to a base plate(200) of a hood latch assembly. A damping piece(120) is elastically connected to the fixture piece with a hinge. The damping piece is rotated with a hood striker. An elevating plate(130) comprises a projection bar(132) which moves along a rail groove of the damping piece. The damping piece is composed of a first and a second damping piece(120a,120b) which are arranged on the fixture piece to face each other. The first and the second damping piece are hinged to the fixture piece with an elastic spring. |
