<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power without degrading performance in an operation method of a processor system and the processor system. <P>SOLUTION: The processor system has: a processor part which periodically performs main processing and starts processing within a recovery restriction time calculated in advance for interrupt processing generated within a cycle; a history storage part for holding generation history of interrupt processing for each cycle; and a mode control part for selecting an operation mode of the processor part. For example, the processor part has a normal mode and a plurality of power-saving modes for saving power. For example, the mode control part selects an operation mode of the processor part from among the normal mode and a plurality of power-saving modes, on the basis of the recovery restriction time of unexecuted interrupt processing detected based on the generation history, a recovery time from each of the power-saving modes to the normal mode, and the remaining time of the cycle, during a period in which neither the main processing nor the interrupt processing is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
