<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device of a turbocharger capable of blocking up a clearance between a turbine housing and an exhaust nozzle by a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing device of the turbocharger has the clearance 15 between the turbine housing 1 having a scroll passage 8 and a rear exhaust introducing wall 9a of the exhaust nozzle 10, and has a sealing body 24 annularly formed with a fitting fixing part 25 airtightly fitted and fixed to a step part 22 formed by facing the scroll passage 8 in the turbine housing 1 and a clearance opposed part 27 opposed with a clearance S to an outer peripheral part 23 of the rear exhaust introducing wall 9a and press-fitting the clearance opposed part 27 to the outer peripheral part 23 of the rear exhaust introducing wall 9a by fluid pressure of the scroll passage 8 and flow passage resistance of fluid in the clearance S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
