<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed oxides catalyst which is suitable for the selective oxidation to CO<SB>2</SB>and the full oxidation to CO<SB>2</SB>and H<SB>2</SB>O of VOC, in the same manner, for the decomposition of ester of nitrous acid (nitrogen protoxide) to nitrogen and oxygen, and for the combustion of CO, H<SB>2</SB>and CH<SB>4</SB>of the gas exhausted from anode of fuel cells; which gives a high heat stability and high activity even after aging in high temperature; and which does not request one or more process of impregnation after the impregnation in lanthanum nitrate solution in an industrial manufacture. <P>SOLUTION: The problem is solved by the mixed oxides catalyst which includes oxides of manganese and copper, and oxides of rare-earth metals selected from lanthanum oxides and neodymium oxides, having a percentage composition by weight expressed as MnO, CuO, La<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and/or Nd<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>respectively of 35-56 wt.%, 19-31 wt.% and 20-37 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
