<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a surrounding obstacle from colliding against a tube of an arm cylinder projected from a third boom and to prevent the obstacle from getting caught on the tube. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The third boom 16 provided with the arm cylinder 23 comprises a protective member 28 covering a vertical and lateral moving range of the tube 23A of the arm cylinder 23 from the upper, lower, left, right and rear sides. The protective member 28 can thereby prevent the surrounding obstacle from colliding against the tube 23A, hydraulic hoses 25B, 26B, or the like by covering the tube 23A of the arm cylinder 23. Further, the protective member 28 can prevent the obstacle such as an electric wire, a branch of a tree, or the like from being caught on the tube 23A during work or transportation by blocking a space between the tube 23A of the arm cylinder 23 and a second boom 14.
