<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous adhesive composition provided with excellent adhesion performance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The aqueous adhesive composition contains a main agent containing at least one kind of a water-soluble polymer containing a cationic group, an aqueous solution of the water-soluble polymer and an aqueous polymer not containing a cationic group selected from the group consisting of an aqueous latex not containing a cationic group and an aqueous emulsion not containing a cationic group, and a curing agent containing an isocyanate compound. The water-soluble polymer containing the cationic group is a water-soluble polymer containing a primary amine, a secondary amine, a tertiary amine or a salt thereof.
