PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an electroconductive elastomer which has high electroconductivity and high transparency and is flexible. SOLUTION: The method for producing the electroconductive elastomer comprises: a polyaniline derivative synthesis step of subjecting aniline to chemical oxidation polymerization in a mixed solvent containing water and an organic solvent immiscible with water at a temperature of ≤-15°C in the presence of the organic protonic acid shown by formula (I): [M(XARn)m] or salt thereof to obtain a polyaniline derivative; and an elastomer mixing step of mixing the polyaniline derivative with an elastomer having a urethane bond.
