<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste application device capable of preventing static charge due to the application action of a paste material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The paste application device 10 is provided with a container part 22 for holding the conductive paste material S inside, a container support part 26 for supporting the container part 22, a work support part 27 for supporting a substrate 12 as the work to be opposed to a discharge part 23a of the paste material S in the container part 22, a base part 21 grounded and supporting the container support part 26 and an insulating part 32 provided in a range from the base part 21 to the discharge part 23a and for insulating the base part 21 from the discharge part 23a.
