PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector wherein a connecting terminal is easily inserted into a terminal accommodating hole in a housing, and connection to a connecting terminal on a side to be connected with is surely performed. SOLUTION: When a slider 33 is slid toward a terminal accommodating hole 30 while a connecting terminal 2 is held in the terminal storing hole 30 in a housing 3 until a circumferentially engaging portion 35 abuts against an abutting surface 22a and the connecting terminal 2 is rotated in the circumferential direction, so the abutting surface 22a is kept in parallel with the sliding direction of the slider 33.
