PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generating set which is equipped with a sensor function of detecting a power generation operation of the generating set while reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: This generating set 1 is provided with: a power generation part 10 which generates an electric power; a detection circuit 40 and detection electrodes 117 and 118 which detect the power generation operation by the power generation part 10; and an output circuit 50 which determines the movement of a movable substrate 105 by detecting the power generation operation of the power generation part 10 by the detection circuit 40, and the detection electrodes 117 and 118.
