<p>A protecting and fixing device is provided with an upper lid (1) in which an upper-lid slit (4) is formed, the upper-lid slit (4) allowing a flat cable (14) to pass therethrough; a lower lid (2) in which a lower-lid slit (6) is formed at a position shifted from a position facing the upper-lid slit (4), the lower lid slit (6) allowing the flat cable (14) to pass therethrough; a hinge section (3) for foldably connecting the upper lid (1) and the lower lid (2) together; fixing claws (5) for fixing the upper lid (1) and the lower lid (2) together; and holding claws (7) provided on that surface of the lower lid (2) which faces the upper lid (1) and engaging with the peripheral edge of a housing opening (11). The upper lid (1) and the lower lid (2) collectively sandwich, from front and rear surfaces of the peripheral edge of the housing opening (11), both the peripheral edge and the flat cable (14) passed through the upper-lid slit (4), the housing opening (11), and the lower-lid slit (6). In this way, the flat cable (14) is inserted and fixed to the housing opening (11).</p> |
