PURPOSE: A book information providing terminal and a method thereof are provided to confirm information of a book rapidly by outputting the information of the book through sensing the ISBN number of the book at a non-contact type. CONSTITUTION: A book information providing system includes a book information providing terminal(10) and a server constructed itself(13). An ISBN(International Standard Book Number) reader unit(12) senses the ISBN of a book at a non-contact type. A control unit(11) searches the information of the book corresponds to the sensed ISBN in the server constructed itself. The control unit converts the information of the book into the information which a output is possible. An output unit(16) outputs the converted data. |
