<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for drying power and granular material, capable of saving energy while reducing an adverse effect or the like on the powder and granular material within a drying hopper. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for drying powder and granular material including the drying hopper 21 for storing the powder and granular material, and a blower 15 and a heater 26 for supplying heated gas to the drying hopper further includes: a first temperature detecting sensor 44 which detects a temperature showing a drying treatment state of the powder and granular material in the drying hopper; a second temperature detecting sensor 45 which detects temperature of the gas passed through the heater; and a control means 41 which stops the heater when the temperature detected by the first sensor exceeds a preset first threshold, further stops the blower when the temperature detected by the second sensor is below a preset second threshold while the heater being stopped, and starts the heater and the blower after the lapse of a predetermined first time from the stop of the heater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
