AGENT FOR INHIBITING REMNANT LIPOPROTEIN PRODUCTION AND AGENT FOR INHIBITING TRANSFER TO CHYLOMICRON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for inhibiting remnant lipoprotein production and an agent for inhibiting transfer to chylomicron, both including administration of a chemical compound having CETP inhibition action to an administration object.

SOLUTION: The agent for inhibiting remnant lipoprotein production includes a methanesulfonic acid salt of trans-(4-ä[N-(2-ä[N'-[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzyl]-N'-(2-methyl-2H-tetrazol-5-yl)amino]methyl}-5-methyl-4-trifluoromethylphenyl)-N-ethylamino]methyl}cyclohexyl)acetic acid as an active ingredient having CETP inhibition action.
