摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an all organic fully-packaged miniature bandpass filter, a balun, a diplexer, a multiplexer, a coupler and a combination of the devices, manufactured using liquid crystalline polymer (LCP) and other multilayer polymer-based substrates. SOLUTION: These devices are manufactured using one or more LCP layers on which integrated passive components are formed to achieve density and performance necessary for multiband wireless devices. In designs including a plurality of LCP layers, the LCP layers are separated by pre-preg layers. A coplanar waveguide, a hybrid stripline/coplanar waveguide and/or a microstrip topology are utilized to form the integrated passive component, and devices can be mass-produced each on a large area panel of at least 18 inches×12 inches with a line width smaller than 10μm.
