<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently restore setting information. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A cellphone 10 includes: a setting information storage unit 11 for storing setting information including one or a plurality of setting items; an acquisition unit 14 for acquiring the backup data of the setting information from a memory card C; a calculation unit 15 for calculating the data structure of the setting information corresponding to the backup data acquired; a determining unit 16 for determining a method of restoration from the backup data for each setting item according to the data structure calculated; and a restoration unit 17 for restoring, based on the determined restoration method and using the backup data, each setting item of the setting information stored in the setting information storage unit 11.
