SOLUTION: The method for producing the L-amino acid or the nucleic acid includes culturing the microorganisms having abilities for producing the L-amino acid or the nucleic acid in the liquid medium in a fermentation vessel equipped with a mixing impeller to form and accumulate the crystals of the L-amino acid or the nucleic acid in the medium optionally by adding a seed crystal into the medium, and collecting the crystals of the L-amino acid or the nucleic acid from the cultured product. The power density of the mixing impeller is controlled so as to be ≤2.4 kW/m3after the crystallization or after the addition of the seed crystal. Ž
