<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-amplifying device capable of suppressing and preventing the distortions of a driving signal and reducing the switching loss. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The amplitude value of a driving waveform signal that serves as the reference for the driving signal to be output is pulse-modulated into a modulation signal constituted of a pulse duty, a digital power amplifier circuit 28 power-amplifies the pulse-modulated modulation signal; and when the power-amplified modulation signal is smoothed and outputting it as a drive signal, by adjusting the pulse width of the modulation signal by a pulse density modulating circuit 26, when the frequency becomes high at around 50% of the pulse duty ratio, the pulse width of the modulation signal is controlled to be a predetermined time length or more.
