PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide an ascending/descending chain for ascending/descending a sunshade member by a simple method, so as to make the ascending/descending chain suspended in a position away from a surface of the sunshade member. SOLUTION: A device for ascending/descending the sunshade member lifts/lowers the sunshade member 1 by winding the ascending/descending chain 7 around a rotary member 5 journaled on one end of a winding shaft 2 arranged in a head unit 3, and winding/unwinding an ascending/descending cord 13 wound around the winding shaft 2 by operating the ascending/descending chain 7. An auxiliary pulley 10 is arranged in a predetermined location positioned on the indoor side with respect to a mounting position of the rotary member 5, and the ascending/descending chain wound around the rotary member 5 is guided by the auxiliary pulley 10. Thus, the ascending/descending chain 7 is suspended on the indoor side at a predetermined distance from the surface of the sunshade member 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
