<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: checking the touch panel of a remote control and lowering a rear view mirror downward with the remote control are needed in order to lower the rear view mirror downward with the remote control in backing a vehicle into a home or store parking space, which is a troublesome operation, for example, in such a case that other vehicles are waiting for parking. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lower and upper surfaces of the rear view mirror are rounded so that the side lower part of the vehicle is made visible without a need for lowering the mirror downward with the remote control.
