<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary toothbrush, facilitating vertical brushing for the teeth, and easily clearing stains on the teeth and residual piece of food between the teeth. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In cleaning the outer surfaces of user's teeth, when a slide in hand of a gripping hand is reciprocated in the lateral direction by his thumb, an intermediate shaft is associated and rotated so that the brush cleans his teeth vertically.
