PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laying material allowing a means for eliminating static electricity charged in walking to be easily attached to the laying material that forms a walking surface by juxtaposing a large number of synthetic resin plates. SOLUTION: The laying material that forms the walking surface 10 by juxtaposing the large number of synthetic resin plates 1 is constituted by inserting electrostatic eliminating joint members 3 formed of rubber elastic members containing conductive power and given conductivity, between the plates in an electrostatic eliminating region 11 of the walking surface. The electrostatic eliminating joint member 3 is formed as a long-sized member having a cover plate 4 for covering a joint between the plates, and a leg 5 integral with the cover plate and inserted in the joint.
