PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by restricting a function which cannot be operated between a vending machine and another vending machine connected to the vending machine concerned. SOLUTION: A control device for the vending machine includes: an operation means 11 for operating functions of the vending machine; a slave machine restriction determination means 12 for determining whether or not a slave machine connected to a master machine can use a function of the master machine; an operation restriction means 13 for restricting the operation of the operation means 11; and an arithmetic control part 17 connected to the operation means 11, the slave machine restriction determination means 12 and the operation restriction means 13. When a function determined as a use disabled function by the slave machine restriction determination means 12 is operated, the arithmetic control part 17 restricts the operation of the function by the operation restriction means 13, so that operability can be improved and the usability of the control device of the vending machine can be improved.
