The holder has clamping elements (4) for fixing a fishing rod and a part of a fishing rod accessory to a component of a boat and fastened to carrying elements (1) that are connected with one another by a cross beam (2). The carrying elements comprise hinged legs (5) in such a manner that the legs lie at the carrying elements in a folded condition and stand independently in an unfolded condition of the holder. A hook-shaped element (6) is connected with the cross beam as a single piece or multi-piece, such that the length of the hook-shaped element is adjusted with respect to the cross beam.
