PURPOSE: An antenna subset information generating device, a method and an MIMO(Multi-Input Multi-Output) communication system thereof are provided to create a data transceiving path of optimum environment by selecting an antenna subset according to combination of the number of antenna use about two terminals. CONSTITUTION: In order that deduced conditions from at least one antenna subset selection standard is satisfied, a use antenna number decision unit(364) decides the number of antenna use for a transmission terminal and reception terminal. An antenna subset information generator(366) selects the antenna subset according to combination of the number of the antenna use.
