PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to prevent the exterior inferiority caused by the vibration during the assembly of a product. CONSTITUTION: An LGP(Light Guide Plate) is arranged on a bottom cover and has plural movement prevention structures(131a,137a). A lower cover includes an opening(111a) corresponding to the movement prevention structures. A light source is arranged at one side of the LGP, and a support main includes an insertion unit(113b) at a position corresponding to the opening. A diffusion sheet and an optical sheet are arranged on the LGP, and a liquid crystal panel is arranged on the upper portion of the support main.
