摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out high speed constant control for maintaining light power per channel of wavelength multiple signal light at the required value in response to channel number fluctuations. <P>SOLUTION: A light attenuating device includes: a variable light attenuator for integrally attenuating an input wavelength multiple signal light by a light attenuating quantity in response to a control signal for output; a wavelength channel light power measuring device for measuring a light power of the wavelength multiple signal light outputted by the variable light attenuator for each wavelength channel; a wavelength channel light power deflection device for acquiring for each wavelength channel the light power deflection which is a difference value between the light power measured by the wavelength channel light power measuring device and a target value for each channel; a control coefficient operation processor for obtaining the control coefficient so that an open loop gain of feedback control for the wavelength channel where the time change of the light power deflection is the largest is smaller than the gains of the other wavelength channels; and a control device for converting the light power deflection into the control signal by a feedback control operation based on the control coefficient so as to be outputted to the variable light attenuator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
