<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video image quality measuring apparatus which appropriately measures video image quality even when processing regarding to FEC (Forward Error Correction) technology and DRM (Digital Right Management) technology are performed when a video image stream is transmitted. <P>SOLUTION: The video image quality measuring apparatus includes: a predetermined processing release means which releases processing regarding to the FEC technology or the DRM technology (error correction coding or encryption) applied to the received video image stream (for example, RTP (Real-time Transport Protocol) packet string); a stream reconstruction means which reconstructs the video image stream from a sequence of the video image data after the release; and a quality measuring means which measures quality of the reconstructed video image stream. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
