<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door latch device compact and capable of smoothly performing door opening operation by including a half-latch preventing function in opening operation. <P>SOLUTION: The door latch device includes a fork 29 turned into an open position from a latch position via a half-latch position; a claw 37 that can be engaged with the fork 29 in the state of the fork 29 being turned into the latch position or half-latch position; an open lever 56 moving the claw 37 into the open position from the engaged position with the fork 29; an interlocking lever 47 turned interlockingly with turning of the fork 29; and a holding lever 66 engaged with the open lever 56 when the open lever 56 is operated to open, to hold the open lever 56 in the open operated position to thereby hold the claw 37 in the open position, and released from the engagement with the open lever 56 by turning the interlocking lever 47 by an energizing member (a spring 50) when the fork 29 exceeds the half-latch position from the latch position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
