PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer capable of improving productivity of printed matter by shortening a printing interrupt time due to maintenance. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer 1 includes an inkjet head 4 held to a head carriage 3; a turning means for turning the head carriage 3; and a control means. The head carriage 3 includes a first ink ejection part 41 and a second ink ejection part 42. The control means turns the head carriage 3 to switch a first state in which the first ink ejection part 41 is arranged in a printing region and the second ink ejection part 42 is arranged in a maintenance region, and a second state in which the first ink ejection part 41 is arranged in the maintenance region and the second ink ejection part 42 is arranged in the printing region. The control means performs printing operation control to the ink ejection part 41 arranged in the printing region and performs maintenance operation control to the other ink ejection part 42 arranged in the maintenance region.
