PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a salt content in air continuously for a long period of one or two months or longer. SOLUTION: The system of measuring a salt content in air includes an airtight vessel 1 encapsulating a certain amount of pure water 2, and a sprayer 5 generating fog 10 within a vessel from outdoor air ejected from a nozzle 3a equipped at a distal end of an outdoor air-introducing pipe 3 and pure water in the vessel sucked up by a pure water suction pipe 4. In the system, measured outdoor air is introduced into the vessel of a negative pressure from the outdoor air-introducing pipe, pure water within the vessel is sucked up from the pure water suction pipe, salt content in the measured outdoor air is dissolved into the pure water in the vessel by generating fog from the sprayer to collide the water against a wall 7 in front of the nozzle, and the salt content of the measured outdoor air is measured from a measured value of electrical conductivity in the pure water of the vessel. Further, the system includes a sensor 11 monitoring the amount of pure water in the vessel, a pure water resupply means 8 resupplying pure water into the vessel through the outdoor air-introducing pipe, and a controller 9 actuating the pure water resupply means depending on a signal from the sensor.
