PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a currency processing device for reducing processing time required for dispensing processing. SOLUTION: A currency processing device for dispensing a predetermined number of currencies is provided. The currency processing device comprises: a storage unit 40 for storing separate currencies; a temporary retaining unit for arrangement where the separate currencies are accumulated; a bundling unit 50 for bundling a predetermined number of separate currencies accumulated in the temporary retaining unit for arrangement and creating bundled currencies; a dispensing port 20 for delivering the separate currencies; and a control unit 120 for, after transporting the separate currencies stored in the storage unit 40, accumulating them in the temporary retaining unit for arrangement, and transporting the separate currencies accumulated in the temporary retaining unit for arrangement to the bundling unit 50, delivering odd parts of the separate currencies less than the predetermined number of currencies of the number of dispensing currencies from the storage unit 40 and transporting them to the dispensing port 20.
