PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message contribution system allowing each user to easily acquire a message desired to be referred to from messages contributed to a message board about a topic in which unspecified users participate. SOLUTION: The message board 100 of the topic R in which the unspecified large number of users participate is provided by a server device. The user participating in the topic R can designate the message contributed by an optional user as a monitoring target 102. The plurality of users out of the users participating in the topic R designate the same message as the monitoring target 102 in a prescribed period, and the users setting the same message as the monitoring target are grouped and become participants of a temporary topic T when contributing a new message to it. The user having become the participant of the temporary topic T can uses a message board 200 of the temporary topic T provided separately from the message board 100 of the topic R.
